Each passenger travelling with Emirates is allowed to carry a certain amount of baggage for free. Passengers travelling from Canada and North America on Economy Class can check-in free of charge two pieces of baggage up to 50 lbs (23kg) each, while First and Business class passengers are allowed to check-in two pieces of baggage up to 71 lbs (32 kg) each. All passengers travelling from South America can check-in two pieces of baggage up to 71 lbs (32 kg) each.
All First and Business Class passengers are allowed to carry on board two pieces of hand-baggage ( one briefcase of dimensions no more than 45x35x20 cm and one garment bag of dimensions no more than 55x38x20 cm) the weight of each piece must not exceed 15 lbs (7 kg). Economy Class passengers are permitted one piece of hand-baggage (handbag or laptop bag) that must not exceed 55x38x20 cm and must not weigh more than 15 lbs (7 kg). For passengers travelling to India the sum of dimensions of each piece of hand-baggage must not exceed 115 cm.
