Each passenger traveling with Finnair is allowed to carry a certain amount of baggage for free. Number of pieces, weight and sum of dimensions of each piece that can be carried free of charge are defined precisely and depend on the class of travel and the passenger’s destination. Passengers traveling on Business Class and Economy PRO/Flexible are allowed to carry two pieces of baggage, while Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry one piece of baggage for free. For intercontinental flights passengers traveling on Business Class are allowed to carry one additional piece of baggage. Each piece of baggage must not exceed the maximum weight of 23 kg and the sum external dimensions 158 cm.
Business Class passengers, Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold and silver members can carry on board one piece of carry-on baggage and a laptop or a briefcase. Their maximum combined weight must be no more than 10 kg. Other passengers can carry one piece of hand-baggage 8 kg. Every hand-baggage must not exceed the maximum dimensions of 56x45x25 cm.
