All Thai Airways passengers are allowed to carry their baggage for free. The amount that each passenger can carry depends on the travel class and the destination. Royal Silk Class passengers are allowed to carry baggage up to 40 kg in total, while Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry up to 30kg in total. Passengers travelling with infants that do not occupy a seat are allowed to carry additionally baggage up to 10 kg. Frequent Flyer members are allowed to carry additional baggage.
In addition to the checked baggage each passenger travelling with Thai Airways is allowed to carry one hand-baggage up to 7 kg and 56x45x25cm plus one handbaggage or purse with total dimensions of 75 cm and weighing maximum 1.5 kg.
